Cuerno Rosado

The “Cuerno” cultivars are named for the upward-curved shape of their fruits. It is the most widely cultivated and marketed type of banana in Panama. Its average yield is 18 to 20 commercial fingers per plant, which are relatively non-perishable. It has moderate tolerance to black Sigatoka but is susceptible to BSV and the black weevil.
